Not in Rome: Diary of A Witch Doctor

I know how he feels © A. Harrison

So, serious internet issues recently. Long story, but essentially incompetent customer support trained to give the talk of sympathy whilst doing nothing. (Where I live, without internet I have no phone reception, so these tête-à-têtes proved as tedious as they were frustrating.) Being flooded in for part of the time didn’t help.

So I switched providers and in a few hours – voilà! Access to the outer world.

Interestingly, after re-connecting the internet, all my clocks are set to Rome time. I like to think of it as a sign.

It took me a few days to convince the internet gods I actually live in the Antipodes, but I can’t help thinking that September in Rome would be nice…
